I want to thank the players that came out for our National Chess Day Quick Chess Tournament on Saturday. There were 9 players for the 5 round Swiss, G/29, USCF-rated tournament. There was a three-way tie for first between Jonathan Sanford, John Chancy, and Ben Silva. They split the money prize for 1st & 2nd place. Based on tie-breaks, Jonathan Sanford took home the first place trophy and John Chancy took home the second place trophy. Larry Thompson won the U1600 trophy and prize money.
