National Chess Day Quick Chess Tournament Results


I want to thank the players that came out for our National Chess Day Quick Chess Tournament on Saturday. There were 9 players for the 5 round Swiss, G/29, USCF-rated tournament. There was a three-way tie for first between Jonathan Sanford, John Chancy, and Ben Silva. They split the money prize for 1st & 2nd place. Based on tie-breaks, Jonathan Sanford took home the first place trophy and John Chancy took home the second place trophy. Larry Thompson won the U1600 trophy and prize money. Following is the cross table for the event:
