I wanted to remind everyone that our monthly “First Wednesday of the Month” tournament is tomorrow (Wednesday), September 1st.
Location: Burger King, 360 West Tharpe Street
Registration: 6:45 PM – 7:00 PM
Rounds: 1st Round Begins at 7:05 PM. Subsequent rounds will start as soon as pairings can be done after all games for each round ends.
Time-control: Game/20 minutes
Entry Fee: $5.00
Rounds: 3 rounds (Round Robin or Swiss System depending on turnout). If we have 8 participants we’ll have two quads.
Prizes: 1st place: 2/3rd of prize fund, 2nd place: 1/3 of prize fund. Unless we have two quads, in which case there will be a 1st place prize only for each quad.
Byes: 1/2 point bye for 1st round or last round if you let me know before the tournament begins.
